It's been some time since I added to my professional web space. Since my last post in February, I have experienced so many amazing professional opportunities!
In March, I had the great pleasure of presenting at the National Association for Professional Development Schools (NAPDS) Conference in Atlanta, GA - discussing with colleagues (nationally) about UTRPP and the connection between the program and the success of graduates in the program Not only was the session well-attended, but we had several attendees inquire greater details of regarding UTRPP.
In April, I again had an opportunity to present on the program and the success of its graduates. On this occasion, I presented close to home as the University of South Florida held its annual Inquiry Conference at the Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa, Fl. The roundtable session went extremely well and I have received several emails from those whom attended and inquired about the program.
In May, we said goodbye and good luck to our Final Year Residents as they received their diplomas from the University of South Florida and are now, and will forever be, alumni of my university!
June and July brought in many opportunities for me to see the growth within our First Year Residents (now Final Year Residents) as they completed coursework en route to their senior year, graduation and employment as teachers in the State of Florida!
It was a fantastic school year and I am looking forward to more and more great things to occur over the next school year!
